Harish Wadhwa came to formal astrological study later in life, training under the Parashara-lineage curriculum offered through the Institute of Vedic Astrology's correspondence programme while based between Delhi and London. Before that, he spent decades in architectural consultancy, which drew him naturally toward Vastu Shastra, the spatial sibling of Jyotisha. His study of sidereal reckoning was shaped significantly by B.V. Raman's writings and the Krishnamurti Paddhati system, both of which grounded him in the precise astronomical framework that separates sidereal practice from its tropical counterpart.

Harish reads charts with the methodical patience of someone who came to this discipline from an analytical profession.
