Harika Pothineni

Harika Pothineni was born and raised in Hyderabad, where she first encountered crystal healing through her maternal grandmother's collection of rough stones, quartz, red coral, and blue sapphire, kept in a brass box beneath the puja shelf. She trained formally under a senior teacher at the Jyotish Vidya Kendra in Secunderabad, where she studied the intersection of Navaratna gemology with classical Parashari principles. Her seven years of practice are rooted equally in that Vedic lineage and in the mineralogical traditions she later studied through correspondence coursework with the Gemological Institute of India.

Harika approaches crystal and gemstone consultation as a discipline requiring precision, not intuition alone. She maps every stone recommendation back to the planetary lord of the relevant house in the natal chart, cross-referencing graha dashas and transits before suggesting anything wearable. She is explicit about what she won't do: she will not recommend a gemstone based on birth month alone, she refuses to prescribe stones for third parties without their chart, and she will not guarantee outcomes. Her readings are designed to give clarity about which planetary energies are suppressed or overactive, and why a particular stone, worn correctly, at the right weight, in the right metal, might help shift that balance.

Most of Harika's clients come to her with very practical concerns: a career stall after years of effort, chronic relationship friction, persistent health-adjacent exhaustion they have not been able to shake. They leave with a detailed written note, sometimes two pages, specifying stone, weight in carats, the finger, the metal, the day and time of wearing, and the specific mantra associated with the planetary deity. She treats every consultation like a prescription, because for her, that is exactly what it is.
