Chaitra Murthy

Chaitra Murthy was born and raised in Mysore, Karnataka, where she began her study of Jyotisha under a traditional Parashari astrologer from the Sringeri tradition. She later deepened her practice through intensive study at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Bengaluru, where she formally studied Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and the works of Varahamihira. Her lineage is firmly classical, rooted in the southern Shastra tradition, and she supplements this with a trained sensitivity to psychic impressions that she has cultivated quietly alongside her textual studies over the past seven years.

Chaitra reads with precise methodical rigor: she calculates Vimshottari dasha sequences first, cross-references with Navamsha and Ashtakavarga before forming any opinion, and rarely speaks on a chart she hasn't fully examined. She focuses on dharma, life direction, relationship compatibility, and the timing of pivotal life events. She will not speculate on death, terminal illness, or court verdict outcomes.
