Basavaraj Patil came to Reiki healing later in life, after retiring from a long career in civil engineering in Bangalore. He trained under a Reiki master at a healing and wellness centre on Cunningham Road, completing his Usui Reiki Level I, II, and Master attunements over eighteen months. His interest in Lal Kitab was sparked by a dog-eared copy given to him by his late father-in-law, a railway officer from Gulbarga who swore by its simple remedies. That mix of tactile healing energy and folk-astrology wisdom shapes everything Basavaraj does today.

Basavaraj reads slowly and without rush. He places equal weight on the body's energy field and the planetary positions in a Lal Kitab chart, believing the two maps often confirm each other in striking ways. He focuses on blocked energy centers, corresponding to Rahu, Ketu, and Saturn placements, and prescribes practical remedies: specific colours, charitable acts, and Reiki self-healing techniques that clients can do at home. He will not promise dramatic reversals of fate, and he refuses to assign timelines to grief or healing. His phrase is simple: clarity first, certainty never.
